      Ashok Leyland Partners with Drivn for EV Financing

      Chennai- Ashok Leyland Limited., of the Hinduja Group and a commercial vehicle manufacturer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Drivn, a provider of financing and leasing solutions for electric commercial vehicles. The partnership aims to improve access to customized financing options for customers purchasing Ashok Leyland electric vehicles.

      The MoU was signed by Niruban M, Head – Alternate Energy, Ashok Leyland, and Alpna Jain, CBO & Co-founder, Drivn, in the presence of representatives from both companies.

      Under the partnership, Drivn will provide end-to-end financial solutions for Ashok Leyland's electric vehicle customers, including customized financing, leasing and fleet ownership options. The initiative is designed to make electric truck ownership more accessible by reducing upfront capital requirements and offering flexible repayment structures suited to different business requirements.

      The collaboration is also expected to support wider adoption of electric commercial vehicles by improving financing accessibility and operational flexibility for fleet operators and businesses transitioning to e-trucks.
