      Ashok Leyland Released April Sales Report

      Chennai- Ashok Leyland Limited., of the Hinduja Group, a manufacturer of commercial vehicles, reported sales figures for the April 2024, Total Commercial vehicles export and domestic sales registered a growth of 10% compared to the same period of 2023, domestic CV sales recorded 9% growth.

      In the Light commercial vehicle segment, the domestic sales registered 2% drop with the sales of 4,835 units in April 2024. Export registered a 223% growth compared to the same period of the last year. Total export and domestic LCV sales registered 2% growth.

      Turning to the M&HCV truck Segment, Domestic and export sales registered 1% sales drop from 6,831 units in April 2023 to 6,752 units in April 2024. Domestic sales decline by 2% recorded a sale of 6537 units in April 2024.

      Domestic and export sale of M& HCV bus up by 115% compared to the April 2023. Domestic sale of M&HCV buses incline with 171% growth compared to April 2023.
