      Ashok Leyland secures Order of 2104 Buses from MSRTC

      Chennai- Ashok Leyland Limited., of the Hinduja Group, a commercial vehicle manufacturer, has secured its largest single order for fully built buses, receiving a contract from Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) for 2104 units of Viking passenger buses.

      Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), a state transport undertaking with over 15,000 buses, has ordered 2104 units of Viking passenger buses from Ashok Leyland. These modern, fully compliant buses will feature the latest CMVR standards, AIS 153 compliant bodies, iGEN6 BS VI OBD II technology with 197 HP H-Series Engines, and Rear Air Suspension. Manufactured at Ashok Leyland's plants, they promise enhanced safety, improved comfort, and lower total ownership costs for MSRTC.
