Stuttgart, Germany- ATeams-Touristik GmbH & Co. KG., from Schirgiswalde in Saxony has expanded its fleet by an S 516 HD to now include three Setra touring coaches. The Setra ComfortClass 500 touring coach is equipped with 48 Setra Voyage touring seats with adjustable comfort head restraints for back-friendly travel. A kitchenette unit with water boiler and sausage cooker as well as USB ports with charging function for smartphones and tablets for each passenger are also on board.
The touring coach, which has been scheduled to complete more than 100 days on the road by the end of the year, is powered by a Mercedes Benz OM 470 in-line six-cylinder engine with 335 kW (456 hp) linked to the fully automated GO 250–8 MPS 8-speed manual transmission (Powershift).
The new Driver Score assistance system ensures continuous optimisation of the driving style by evaluating the current driving behaviour according to numerous parameters as well as the use of driver assistance systems, providing individual feedback and suggestions on the display.
On its European tours, the new touring coach complements the Saxon company's first S 516 HD, which was acquired during the pandemic. In spring, the touring coach was used as part of a relief campaign to take aid goods to Ukraine and refugees from there to Germany.
