Bengaluru -Ather Energy, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer launched its next-generation electric scooter, Rizta, has rolled out from Ather’s state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The Rizta e-scooter has a starting price of Rs 1.10 lakh. Bookings for it opened digitally on March 29th with a token amount of Rs 999. Deliveries are anticipated to commence in July. Ather is offering two variants of the Rizta: Rizta S and Rizta Z. The Rizta Z comes in variants priced at Rs 1.24 lakh and Rs 1.44 lakh.
Rizta S features a 2.9 kWh battery, while Rizta Z offers both 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh options with ranges of 123 km and 160 km respectively. Rizta S comes in 3 colors, while Rizta Z offers 7 colors, including 4 dual-tone options.
Although Ather has yet to reveal the motor specifications of the Rizta, all variants can reach a top speed of 80 kmph. The Rizta offers two ride modes: Zip and Smart Eco. Additionally, it features ride assist functionalities such as Magic Twist, Auto Hold, and Reverse Mode, which were initially introduced in the 450 series.
The Rizta features a large space, with a combined luggage capacity of 56 liter. This includes a 34-liter under-seat storage and a 22-liter frunk. Furthermore, the under-seat storage can be lifted as a single bag, adding to the convenience. The Rizta comes with the largest single-piece seat, providing sufficient space for both the rider and the pillion.
