USA- Audi AG, an automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles has launched its 2025 Q6 e-tron series, featuring a new rear-wheel-drive entry model that sets the standard for the lineup. Starting at $63,800 (Rs. 5,293,400) , the Q6 e-tron combines advanced technology with impressive range, signaling the beginning of Audi’s ambitious product rollout planned over the next two years.

Audi expanded electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the 2025 Q6 e-tron series. This lineup includes the rear-wheel-drive Q6 e-tron, the all-wheel-drive Q6 e-tron quattro, and the performance-focused SQ6 e-tron. With this rollout, Audi will have a total of 11 distinct battery electric vehicle (BEV) models across four e-tron series by the end of 2024.

Built on the innovative Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, the Q6 e-tron represents Audi's latest advancement in battery electric vehicles (BEVs). The vehicle showcases the new E3 1.2 electronic architecture, featuring state-of-the-art technologies and a completely overhauled MMI user interface. This PPE platform will also be the foundation for future Audi models, including the upcoming A5 and Q5.

The rear-wheel-drive Q6 e-tron is powered by a single permanently excited synchronous (PSM) motor at the rear, delivering 302 hp, or 322 hp with launch control. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 130 mph. With the ultra-package, which includes 18-inch wheels and low rolling resistance tires, it offers an impressive EPA-estimated range of 321 miles, making it the longest-range SUV in Audi's electric vehicle lineup.

The Q6 e-tron quattro is equipped with dual electric motors on the front and rear axles, delivering 422 hp, or 456 hp with launch control. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds, boasting an EPA-estimated range of 307 miles. The SQ6 e-tron takes performance up a notch with 483 hp, increasing to 509 hp with launch control, achieving 0 to 60 mph in a swift 4.1 seconds and reaching a top speed of 143 mph. Its EPA-estimated range stands at 275 miles.

All models feature a 100-kWh 800-volt battery pack, enabling DC fast-charging speeds of up to 270 kW (260 kW for RWD models). This allows for charging from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.

The Q6 e-tron is designed with a spacious interior, providing 38.5 inches of front headroom and up to 60.2 cubic feet of storage when the rear seats are folded. The cabin features a sleek Digital Stage, which includes an 11.9-inch Audi OLED virtual cockpit and a 14.5-inch touchscreen OLED display.
