Frankfurt, Germany- The Supervisory Board of Aumovio SE has confirmed the appointment of new members to its Executive Board, marking a key milestone in the company’s transformation into an independent, publicly listed entity. The leadership team will be led by CEO Philipp von Hirschheydt, was appointed on March 12, 2025.

Joining von Hirschheydt on the Executive Board are four senior leaders. Ingo Holstein has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Boris Mergell will lead the Safety and Motion business area, including the aftermarket segment with products such as brake pads, batteries, and sensors. Jean-François Tarabbia takes charge of Architecture and Network Solutions, while Ismail Dagli will oversee Autonomous Mobility, which also includes the commercial vehicle division.

Until a permanent Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is named, Philipp von Hirschheydt will assume CFO duties on an interim basis. The selection process for a new CFO is already underway. In addition, von Hirschheydt will directly manage the User Experience business area.

Supporting the Executive Board, Pavel Prouza (Head of User Experience) and Nino Romano (CTO) will serve on the extended Board and report directly to the CEO. These appointments strengthen Aumovio SE's leadership as the company prepares to enter its next phase of growth

Mr. Stefan E. Buchner, designated chairman of the future Supervisory Board of Aumovio SE, said, “The Supervisory Board congratulates all members of the Executive Board on their positions of responsibility. Mr. Philipp von Hirschheydt, CEO, said, “I look forward to continuing the successful collaboration with my trusted and highly experienced colleagues on the Executive Board and also on the extended Board. As the Executive Board team of the future Aumovio SE, we will create value for our customers, shareholders and employees.” 

Mr. Boris Mergell, previously Head of the Safety and Motion business area, will assume responsibility for this business area on the Executive Board of Aumovio SE, which also includes the aftermarket business with products such as brake pads, batteries and sensors. The business areas that are decisive for the technology and market position in the growth areas of software-defined and autonomous vehicles will be managed by the previous heads Mr. Jean-François Tarabbia (Architecture and Network Solutions) and Ismail Dagli (Autonomous Mobility). In his business area Ismail Dagli also heads the commercial vehicle business. Each of the three have more than 20 years of expertise in the automotive industry in various roles, including leading research and development teams, and many years of experience in managing business areas.

Mr. Pavel Prouza, head of the User Experience business area, and CTO Nino Romano will form part of the extended Board and will report directly to Mr. Philipp von Hirschheydt. 

Aumovio SE will offer cutting-edge electronic products and modern mobility solutions. In addition to its strong market position in innovative sensor solutions and displays as well as technologically leading brake and comfort systems, the future independent company will have extensive expertise in software, architecture platforms and assistance systems for the rapidly growing future market of software-defined and autonomous vehicles.
