Roeselare, Belgium - AVR Machinery., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has expanded its Ceres 440 planter range with a new integrated power harrow combination for varying and stony soil conditions.
Developed with LSM, the unit combines hydraulic subsoilers, a Maschio DM3000 power harrow and the four-row Ceres 440 planter. Operators can adjust cultivation depth independently from planting depth through the AVR joystick or ISOBUS display.
AVR says the compact design improves seed placement in the centre of the ridge, including on sloping fields, while reducing the need for multiple field passes.
The new model joins the existing MultiForce and Compact Ceres 440 configurations. Following field testing in 2025 and limited production in 2026, AVR will display the machine at Potato Europe and Interpom.
