Pune-Bajaj Auto Ltd., an automotive manufacturing company has announced a 5% rise in total vehicle sales, including exports, reaching 3,58,477 units in June 2024. This marks an increase from the 3,40,981 vehicles sold in the same month last year.
Domestic sales, including commercial vehicles, climbed 8% to 2,16,451 units last month, compared to 1,99,983 units sold in the same month the previous year. Total exports for the month increased by 1%, reaching 142,026 units, compared to 140,998 vehicles exported in June 2023.
In June 2024, the total number of two-wheelers sold, including both domestic and export figures, reached 303,646 units. This represents a 3% increase from the 293,649 units sold in June 2023.
Domestic two-wheeler sales increased by 7% to 177,207 units in June 2024, up from 166,292 units in June 2023. Meanwhile, two-wheeler exports saw a slight decrease year-on-year, totaling 1,26,439 vehicles compared to 1,27,357 units in the same month last year.
Total sales of Commercial Vehicles (CVs), including exports, increased by 16% to 54,831 units in the previous month, compared to 47,332 units sold in June 2023.
