Pune - Bajaj Auto Ltd., a commercial vehicles manufacturer, has reported December 2024 commercial vehicle sales, with 16,867 units exported and 34,085 units sold domestically. Bajaj Auto achieved a 16% YoY growth in commercial vehicle sales in December 2024, selling 50,952 units compared to 43,805 in December 2023.
Bajaj Auto saw a 5% YoY increase in domestic commercial vehicle sales in December 2024, selling 34,085 units compared to 32,549 units in December 2023. Exports rise by 50% YoY, with 16,867 units delivered in December 2024, up from 11,256 units in in December 2023.
When considering sales of two-wheelers and three-wheelers in both domestic and international markets, the company experienced a 1% decline in overall sales for December 2024.
From April to December 2024, the brand sold 3,67,284 commercial vehicles, marking a 4% YoY increase from 3,53,689 units in the same period of 2023. Export sales saw a significant 21% YoY rise, with 1,42,002 units exported compared to 1,17,562 units between April and December 2023.
Considering both domestic and international markets, Bajaj Auto experienced an 8% YoY increase in sales from April to December 2024, selling 5,09,286 units, compared to 4,71,251 units in the same period of 2023.
In December 2024, Bajaj Auto sold 3,26,806 units, a 1% increase compared to 3,23,125 units in the previous year. For the period between April and December 2024, the company sold 35,48,032 units, reflecting an 8% YoY growth from 32,82,357 units sold in the same period of 2023.
