New Delhi, India- Bajaj Auto Limited., has launched the new Pulsar N250 SS in India. The new variant brings several upgrades to its transmission, instrumentation and rider assistance features.
The Bajaj Pulsar N250 SS features a six-speed gearbox, replacing the five-speed unit in the standard model. It also gets a new TFT instrument console with Google Maps mirroring, an electronic throttle body (ETB) and multiple ride modes. These additions provide riders with more information and greater flexibility while riding.
Other features include a Sports Shifter, adjustable levers, a USB Type-C charging port, a hazard switch and Panic Brake Alert. The TFT display replaces the LCD instrument console found on the standard Pulsar N250, making the new version more feature-rich.
Powering the motorcycle is a 249cc single-cylinder engine with a four-valve setup, producing 24.6 bhp and 22 Nm of torque. In comparison, the standard Pulsar N250's two-valve engine produces 24.1 bhp and 21.5 Nm of torque. The revised engine configuration offers a slight increase in both power and torque.
With its upgraded engine setup, additional transmission ratio and enhanced electronic features, the Pulsar N250 SS sits above the standard N250 in Bajaj Auto's quarter-litre motorcycle lineup. The new variant combines the existing model's core mechanical layout with additional equipment for riders seeking more features in the 250cc segment.
