Bangkok, Thailand - The 46th Bangkok International Motor Show, takes place from March 26 to April 6, 2025, at IMPACT Challenger Halls 1-3 and Forum Hall 4 in Muang Thong Thani. The event organized by Grand Prix International Public Company Limited., in collaboration with over 54 leading automotive brands from Europe, the US, and Asia.

Under the theme "The Talk of Sensuous Automotive," the event highlights cutting-edge innovations, groundbreaking designs, and the expanding electric vehicle (EV) market. The event will showcase a dedicated highlight zone for EV and internal combustion engine spare parts, secured through successful negotiations with Chinese manufacturers and distributors. This expansion underscores the EV market's growing significance and the show's role in fostering industry collaboration.

Mr. Jaturont Komolmis, Vice Chairman of the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show, said, "Currently, 54 automotive exhibitors from Europe and Asia have confirmed their participation. We are particularly excited to welcome new EV brands debuting in Thailand, including Zeekr, Omoda & Jaecoo, Chery, Kinggen, Juneyao, Riddara, and Geely, as well as in-car navigation technology from Huawei. The electric motorcycle brand Yadea will also make its first appearance."

Beyond automotive showcases, the event will feature a Used Car exhibition, lifestyle and fashion products, spiritual items, and diverse entertainment. A special event, MU-NIVERSE: "Unveiling Thailand's Mu-Te-Lu Universe for the Next Generation," will run from April 2-6, 2025, at Forum Hall 4, blending beliefs, art, technology, and lifestyle for a unique visitor experience.

The show welcomes 14 additional Chinese exhibitors and features numerous new car and motorcycle launches, both internal combustion and electric. Expanding its scope, organizers have included EV and engine spare parts manufacturers. A partnership with Nanjing Chuangji Exhibition introduces automotive parts and electric motorcycles, offering Thai entrepreneurs new business opportunities and strengthening industry networks.

The event occurs against the backdrop of a challenging period for Thailand's automotive industry. In February 2025, domestic car sales fell to 49,313 units, a 6.68% decrease compared to last year. Exports also declined by 8.34%, leading to a 13.62% drop in car production to 115,487 units. Despite these challenges, the production of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) raises to 7,574 units, marking a 60.09% year-on-year increase.

Despite industry challenges, the Bangkok International Motor Show 2025 continues to be a vital hub for industry leaders, manufacturers, and enthusiasts, fostering innovation and economic growth in Thailand’s automotive sector. With new collaborations, cutting-edge models, and increased exhibitor participation, the event is poised to shape the future of mobility in the region.
