Czechia, Europe - BEDNAR FMT., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced the Soniq ON, a compact mounted seeding combination designed to deliver uniform crop emergence in both conventional farming and minimal tillage systems, while ensuring high-quality seedbed preparation.
The Soniq ON integrates soil cultivation and precise seed placement in a single pass. At its core is a power harrow equipped with 12 rotors, offering a high rotor density per meter of working width for consistent tillage performance, even in heavy soils. Each rotor is supported by three bearings to maximize stability and service life, while individual stone protection covers mounted on the gearbox frame safeguard the driveline.
The Soniq ON features a single-chamber pressurized seed hopper of up to 1,600 liters (1,000 liters in the base version) for precise dosing, even at high sowing rates. Half-width shut-off reduces overlap, and calibration can be done via the Farm Link app or at the rear for easy emptying. Seed placement uses a parallel linkage unit with double-disc coulters, ensuring uniform depth and consistent pressure (up to 60 kg/coulter). Row spacing options are 12.5 cm or 15 cm.
The Soniq ON is fully ISOBUS-compatible and operated via Bednar’s Easy Control software, enabling intuitive management of all machine functions through a clear, user-friendly interface with integrated guidance. The power harrow can also be used independently, extending its versatility across a wide range of field conditions.
A broad selection of optional equipment is available, including track eradicators, side markers, half-width shut-off, long-life or quick-change blades, and other attachments, allowing farmers to tailor the Soniq ON to their specific operational needs.
