Mumbai-BGAUSS Auto Private Limited., a electric vehicle manufacture has teased the release of its upcoming RUV350 scooter. It will be launched on June 25, 2024. The brand's name from magnetism, with 'B' representing a type of magnetic field and Gauss being a unit used to measure magnetic flux density.

The RUV350 stands out with its larger wheel size, potentially measuring 16 or 17 inches, a departure from standard ICE scooters. Its rugged front fork, featuring gaiters, and rear mono-shock setup suggest off-road readiness. Although image quality is lacking, expectations include a TFT display and full LED lighting. The brand asserts that the RUV350 is designed to conquer any terrain with confidence.

BGauss introduced the C12i scooter last year, offering three distinct variants. The C12i EX features a 2kWh battery with an 85km claimed range, while the C12i Max 2.0 is equipped with a slightly larger 2.7kWh battery and a range of 123km. Lastly, the C12i Max is equipped with a 3.2kWh battery, providing a range of 135km. Prices for the BGauss C12i range from Rs 1.12 lakh to Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Whether the upcoming BGauss RUV350 will share its battery with the C12i lineup remains to be confirmed.
