Howrah- Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV)., manufacturer of BharatBenz trucks and buses and a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, has inaugurated a new authorised BharatBenz dealership, Agile Trucking, at Uluberia in Howrah, West Bengal. The facility strengthens BharatBenz’s presence in eastern India and expands sales, service and spare parts support in one of the region’s key freight and logistics corridors.

Located on NH-16, the dealership offers strong connectivity to major industrial and transport hubs across Howrah, East Medinipur and West Medinipur. It will serve customers operating in areas including Ranihati, Dhulagarh, Sankrail, Bagnan, Kolaghat, Haldia and Kharagpur, supporting fleet operators engaged in FMCG, courier, logistics, captive transport and regional freight movement.

The new 3S facility spans around 100,000 sq. ft. and features 16 bays, including 12 service bays and four accident repair bays. It is supported by three Mobile Reach Vans and a team of 50 trained personnel, with the capacity to service more than 500 vehicles per month. The dealership will operate from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM to provide extended customer support.

Mr. Rajiv Chaturvedi, President & Chief Business Officer, DICV, said the new dealership will help improve service speed, vehicle uptime and customer support across one of eastern India’s major logistics corridors.

Mr. Vijayakumar K, CEO of Agile Trucking, said the facility is focused on providing faster and more reliable support to BharatBenz customers operating along NH-16 and nearby industrial hubs.

To further improve parts availability and vehicle uptime, BharatBenz currently operates Parts Logistics Centres in Oragadam, Gurugram and Pune. The company also plans to establish a dedicated Parts Logistics Centre for Eastern India to reduce delivery lead times and strengthen after-sales support in the region.
