Bihar/Mumbai - Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai, a commercial vehicle manufacturer had supplied 50 Marcopolo CNG¹ buses to Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar flagged off 50 CNG buses for Patna roads during a transport department’s event in Samvad Hall, Patna.

A transport department official said the 50 CNG buses would operate on different routes in Patna.

¹Tata marcopolo CNG of 10t gvw is powered with TATA 3.8 SGI TCIC develops 92 kW @ 2400 r/min and torque 420 Nm @ 1400-1600 r/min which is matched with GBS550 - Cable Shift. The Ladder type chassis of 9m length is fitted with Parabolic leaf springs at front and rear.
