      Bihar/Mumbai - Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai, a commercial vehicle manufacturer had supplied 50 Marcopolo CNG1 buses to Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar flagged off 50 CNG buses for Patna roads during a transport department’s event in Samvad Hall, Patna.

      A transport department official said the 50 CNG buses would operate on different routes in Patna.

      1Tata marcopolo CNG of 10t gvw is powered with TATA 3.8 SGI TCIC develops 92 kW @ 2400 r/min and torque 420 Nm @ 1400-1600 r/min which is matched with GBS550 - Cable Shift. The Ladder type chassis of 9m length is fitted with Parabolic leaf springs at front and rear.
