Blue Diamond Launches HDX Series Bucket Grapples

Knoxville, Tennessee - Blue Diamond Attachments., a heavy equipment manufacturer, has introduced its latest innovation for land clearing and debris management: the HDX series of root and bucket grapples. Purpose-built for midsize equipment, the new grapples are designed to handle demanding tasks such as landscaping, storm cleanup, and general debris removal with ease and durability.

Filling the performance gap between Blue Diamond’s existing Heavy Duty (HD) and Severe Duty models, the HDX series is engineered for use with midsize skid steers, compact track loaders (CTLs), and tractors rated up to 75 horsepower or with a lift capacity of up to 3,000 pounds.

Both the HDX root grapple and bucket grapple models feature a 72-inch width and a generous grapple opening of 32 inches wide by 37 inches deep. This configuration allows operators to handle larger and irregularly shaped loads more efficiently in a single grab. Each grapple includes dual independent top clamps powered by commercial-grade, fully welded hydraulic cylinders for high clamping force and secure load stabilization.

The updated and heavier construction of the new series means they can handle rugged use on midsized machines, making them a cost-effective long-term investment.

The HDX grapples from Blue Diamond are engineered for strength and reliability, featuring ½-inch steel construction for enhanced durability and ¼-inch thick tubing in the frame weldment to ensure structural integrity. The design includes stronger cylinder protection covers and grease fittings at all pivot points for ease of maintenance. For improved functionality and longevity, the grapples offer enhanced hydraulic hose protection and dual top clamps - each ½-inch thick - for superior load stability. A rugged powder-coated finish adds to the overall durability, while compatibility with both universal skid steer and Euro Ag mounts ensures versatility across a wide range of equipment.
