Pune- Blue Energy Motors Ltd., has delivered a fleet of LNG-powered heavy-duty trucks to Inland World Logistics, marking a significant step in the logistics company’s transition to sustainable transportation. The fleet was handed over at Blue Energy’s manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune.

This delivery aligns with Blue Energy Motors’ mission to decarbonise India’s freight sector. The LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) trucks emit up to 30% less CO₂ than conventional diesel vehicles, while offering comparable payload capacity and performance at lower operating costs.

With this milestone, Blue Energy Motors strengthens its footprint in the alternative fuel segment. The company now has over 800 LNG trucks operating across Indian highways, collectively logging more than 50 million kilometres and helping avoid approximately 14,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.

Mr. Anirudh Bhuwalka, CEO of Blue Energy Motors, said, “We are committed to scaling cleaner mobility solutions through fleet-level adoption and regional expansion.” Praveen Somani, Managing Director of Inland World Logistics, added, “Shifting to LNG supports our sustainability goals while maintaining operational efficiency.”
