Pune- Blue Energy Motors, a manufacturer of liquefied natural gas (LNG) trucks, has reached a milestone by manufacturing its 500th green LNG truck at its Pune plant. These trucks, designed to environmental impact, offer a cleaner alternative to diesel, reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Launched in September 2022, the BE 5528+ marked Blue Energy Motors' entry into the LNG truck market. Featuring FPT’s advanced multipoint stoichiometric combustion engine, it delivers 280 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque, making it one of India's most powerful LNG trucks. With a 990L fuel tank, it offers a range of up to 1400 km on a single fill. The spacious cab includes an air-suspended seat and climate control for driver comfort. AI and ML-enabled telematics ensure optimal performance, supported by BEM's extensive service network.

Mr. Anirudh Bhuwalka, CEO of Blue Energy Motors said, “We’re thrilled to announce the rollout and invoicing of our 500th LNG truck! This milestone showcases our dedication to sustainable transport and innovation in the trucking sector. A big thank you to our team and valued customers, including major Indian conglomerates in cement and steel, for making this possible. Here’s to advancing clean energy solutions together!”
