Gurugram- BluSmart Tech Pvt Ltd., an electric vehicle (EV) ride-hailing service and EV charging network, has officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC) to train 250 women in the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR).

The key objective of this collaboration is to create employment opportunities for women, as highlighted in a press release issued by the parties involved.

As part of the MoU, ASDC will oversee the implementation of a comprehensive 3-month driver skills training program. This program aims to equip women candidates with the essential skills and knowledge required for safe and efficient driving.

BluSmart, serving as the placement partner, will conduct sessions focusing on electric vehicles (EVs) and offer employment opportunities to trained women drivers. These opportunities will be provided upon obtaining relevant Qualification Standards certification from ASDC, following standardized screening and driving tests.

Anirudh Arun, Co-founder and COO of BluSmart said, "This MoU strengthens our commitment to gender diversity and inclusivity in the transportation sector."

Arindam Lahiri, CEO of ASDC, stated, "We believe this initiative will set a precedent for more inclusive practices within the automotive industry." The collaboration signifies a positive step toward fostering gender diversity and inclusiveness in the transportation sector while addressing the need for skilled EV drivers in the market.
