BMW Group India sold a record 15,721 cars and 8,301 motorcycles in CY2024 and sold 15,012 units of Mini 709.

Haryana - BMW India Pvt. Ltd., a premium cars manufacturer, reported a record 15,721 cars (BMW and Mini) and 8,301 motorcycles (BMW Motorrad) sold in CY2024. BMW sold 15,012 units, while Mini delivered 709 units. BMW sales reached a peak in Q4 2024 with 4,958 units (up 15%) and in December 2024 with 2,244 units (up 17%).

We had the strongest product offensive in the luxury car segment, paired with the introduction of new initiatives like Retail. NEXT and expansion of bespoke experiences and services for our customers. BMW is leading significantly across segments in the Indian luxury car market including sustainable electric mobility, luxury class and aspirational premium compact segment.”
In CY2024, BMW India achieved its highest-ever sales of the Luxury Class range, with 2,507 units sold (up 8%). Nearly 20% of BMW's sales in India were top-of-the-range models. The BMW X7 led the Luxury Class with 1,570 units sold (up 4%), and over 5,000 X7s have been delivered in India. The BMW 7 Series also topped its segment with 865 units sold (up 15%).
BMW’s long wheelbase models, including the 7 Series, 5 Series, and 3 Series, saw strong demand in 2024. The BMW 3 Series was the top-selling sedan with a 20% share and led its segment. The all-new BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase sedan also impressed, with over 1,000 deliveries in less than six months since its launch.
BMW SUVs accounted for 56% of sales in 2024, with 8,351 units delivered, marking a 16% YoY increase. The BMW X5 saw its highest sales ever (2,056 units, up 89%), and the X1 led the premium compact SAV segment with over 20% market share. BMW M had a strong year with eight new launches, and M car deliveries rose to 875 units. The M340i was the top-selling M model, with over 1,000 sold since its launch.
