Gurugram- BMW Motorrad India., has marked the sales milestone of 10,000 units of the BMW G 310 RR with the launch of the BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition. The special edition motorcycle, available across all BMW Motorrad dealerships in India, comes in two striking colour options – Cosmic Black and Polar White.
The Limited Edition highlights its sporty DNA with exclusive decals across the body kit and wheel rims, a ‘1/310’ badge, and design elements inspired by the legendary BMW S 1000 RR. Its aerodynamic full fairing, Champion’s Dome, aggressive LED headlamps, transparent visor, and Ram Air intake lend it a distinctive road-racing appearance, while high-quality components such as gold upside-down forks, an aluminium swingarm, and Michelin Pilot Street radial tyres further enhance its performance-oriented aesthetics.
At its heart, the BMW G 310 RR is powered by a 312 cc, water-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine with electronic fuel injection, delivering 34 hp (25 kW) at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm torque at 7,700 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox for precise shifts. The race-tuned anti-hopping clutch reduces engine braking during aggressive downshifts, improving stability and riding safety. Riders can choose from four riding modes – Track, Urban, Sport, and Rain – each tailored for different road and weather conditions. The Ride-by-Wire throttle ensures sharp response, while automatic idle speed adjustment prevents stalling during starts.
Built on a torsionally stiff tubular steel frame with a bolt-on rear, the motorcycle combines stability and agility for a dynamic riding character. Suspension is managed by an upside-down front fork and a directly mounted rear spring strut, designed for easy handling, neutral cornering, and maximum riding fun. Safety is supported by a high-performance braking system with dual-channel ABS and rear wheel lift-off protection, ensuring shorter braking distances and confident control even under hard braking.
The bike also features a 5-inch TFT display with intuitive menus and high-resolution graphics that present essential data such as speed, riding statistics, modes, braking performance, and temperature. The Infotainment Control Switch allows seamless mode selection and screen customization.
