India- BMW Motorrad India., has launched the BMW M 1000 R SuperSport roadster in India. Available as a completely built-up unit (CBU), it can be preordered at all authorized BMW Motorrad dealerships, with deliveries starting from May 2026. The M 1000 R combines superbike performance with roadster agility, designed for riders who demand power, precision, and style.

The M 1000 R has an aggressive design, featuring dual-flow LED headlights, M logo air intakes, M Winglets for aerodynamic downforce, and M Carbon wheels. Optional M Competition Package components include carbon parts, GPS lap triggers, and adjustable M rider footrests, enhancing both performance and aesthetics.
Powered by a 999-cc inline 4-cylinder engine, it delivers 210 hp at 13,750 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 11,100 rpm, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 280 km/h. BMW’s Shift Cam technology and M Quick Action Throttle ensure responsive acceleration and precise control.
The motorcycle includes a 6.5-inch TFT display, adaptive riding modes (“Rain,” “Road,” “Dynamic,” “Race,” “Race Pro1-3”), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) with wheelie function, Launch Control, pit lane limiter, cruise control, and heated grips. BMW India Financial Services offers flexible financing, and all motorcycles come with a three-year unlimited kilometre warranty, extendable up to five years, along with 24x7 Roadside Assistance. The BMW M 1000 R sets a new standard for supersport roadsters in India, combining track-inspired performance with street-ready practicality.
