West Fargo, North Dakota – Bobcat Company., a compact equipment manufacturer, has named Laura Ness Owens as its new chief marketing officer (CMO). In this newly created executive role, Ness Owens will oversee global marketing, brand management, customer experience and corporate communications for the organization.
Ness Owens joined Bobcat in 2003 and has since held several senior leadership roles spanning marketing, communications, brand strategy, dealer development and commercial training. Most recently, she served as vice president of global brand and communication and North America marketing. Her earlier career includes experience in government administration, political communications, special events and public policy.

In her new role, Ness Owens will report directly to Scott Park, CEO and Vice Chairman of Doosan Bobcat.
As part of this strategy, Bobcat has promoted two leaders:
- Kristen Hintermeyer to vice president of North America marketing, bringing 20 years of experience to drive brand growth and demand.
- Lanelle Vasichek to senior director of global brand, where she will lead global strategy, customer experience, campaigns and partnerships.
Together, Ness Owens, Hintermeyer and Vasichek will lead a unified, forward-focused marketing strategy, supporting Bobcat’s mission to empower people to achieve more.
