West Fargo, USA - Bobcat Company., a compact equipment manufacturer, expanding its compact excavator lineup with the launch of the new E17 and next-generation E20 models, designed to deliver high performance in tight spaces. Both models will be available at U.S. and Canadian dealerships in November 2025 and will be showcased at The Utility Expo and Equip Expo in October.

The E17 offers premium features at an affordable base price, featuring a zero-tail-swing design, retractable undercarriage, and an in-track swing frame for unrestricted rotation in confined areas. Its footprint can be hydraulically adjusted from 53.5 inches to 38.6 inches, and the foldable dozer blade enhances transport and maneuverability. With a rated lift capacity of 807 pounds, the E17 is suited for landscaping, residential construction, and rental fleets, while offering operator comfort with low-effort joystick controls, LED lighting, and a standard canopy.

The next-generation E20 delivers 24% more arm digging force and 26% more lift capacity over its predecessor, with a 1,098-pound rated lift capacity. Like the E17, it features a zero-tail-swing design and retractable undercarriage. The E20 includes a closed-center hydraulic system, longer arm and blade for increased reach and digging depth, and optional enclosed cab with advanced comfort features including auto idle, auto shift, Bluetooth radio, and reduced noise.

Mr. Michael Wetzel, Director product management at Bobcat Company, said, “We know our customers need machines that can deliver big results in tight spaces. The new E17 and E20 excavators are purpose-built for that challenge. They're mini workhorses that give operators the power and lift capacity they need to tackle demanding jobs.”
