Bobcat has launched the CT4545 and CT4558 compact tractors with fully enclosed, heated, and air-conditioned cabs for year-round tasks.
Date: May 8, 2025
West Fargo, United States - Bobcat Company., a member of the Doosan Group and a compact equipment manufacturer, has introduced its 4500 platform compact tractors, expanding its lineup to include two fully enclosed models - the CT4545 and CT4558, designed for increased comfort and versatility. Both models feature heated and air-conditioned cabs, providing all-weather operation, making them ideal for year-round tasks like snow clearing, material handling, grading, and backfilling.
Since re-entering the compact tractor market in 2019, Bobcat has steadily grown its portfolio, now offering 17 models ranging from 21 to 58 horsepower. The CT4545 (45 horsepower) and CT4558 (58 horsepower) are equipped with turbocharged engines, delivering the power needed for demanding jobs while maintaining excellent low-end torque.
The new tractors offer features similar to Bobcat’s 4000 platform but with the added benefit of a fully enclosed cab. This includes rubber isolators between the cab and mainframe, reducing noise and vibration. Large glass panels, including a rear implement window, provide operators with excellent visibility of the worksite and the three-point hitch. Additional comfort features include an adjustable seat, second door, power and tilt steering, a 12-volt power port, a toolbox, and an optional Bluetooth radio.
Both the CT4545 and CT4558 are powered by turbocharged engines, paired with a cab-integrated joystick and a three-range hydrostatic transmission that ensures easy operation and quick direction changes. The hydrostatic transmission is particularly suited for tasks involving frequent use of the front-end loader, mowing, or maneuvering in tight spaces like woods and brush clearing. The tractors also feature a twin-pedal design, one for forward movement and one for reverse, enhancing ease of operation.
Bobcat’s new FL9-2 front-end loader is compatible with both the CT4545 and CT4558, offering excellent lift capacity and height for tasks like digging, moving dirt, and loading materials. The loader’s float functionality allows operators to follow the contour of the ground for more precise work. It also comes with a heavy-duty brush guard, which protects the tractor’s front end from debris and branches, and features a Quick-Tach system for easy attachment mounting.
The 4500 platform tractors are compatible with various attachments, including pallet forks, utility grapples, augers, angle blades, and snowblowers. They feature PTO cruise for consistent speed, draft control to reduce manual adjustments, and standard four-wheel drive for enhanced traction in tough conditions. The CT4545 and CT4558 models offer advanced performance, comfort, and versatility, making them ideal for a wide range of agricultural and construction tasks.
