West Fargo, North Dakota - Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc., a construction equipment manufacturer, has expanded its lineup with the launch of the L205, L235, L255, and L285 large wheel loaders, along with the E220 and E245 large excavators. All six models will be available at select North American dealerships by mid-Q2 2025.
Bobcat's new E220 and E245 large excavators are built for precision and power, tackling demanding job site challenges with ease. Featuring fast cycle times, enhanced digging forces, and high lifting capabilities, the conventional-tail-swing E220 and reduced-tail-swing E245 enable operators to confidently take on commercial and residential construction, roadwork, and infrastructure projects.
Bobcat's large excavators are designed for superior digging performance, combining optimal size and weight. The E220 offers a digging depth of 21 feet 7 inches, while the E245 reaches 21 feet 11 inches, both delivering a powerful bucket digging force of 35,464 lbf. Featuring a fine swing function, these excavators ensure smooth upper structure movement, reducing spillage. Powered by Tier 4 engines, they meet emissions standards without requiring a diesel particulate filter.
Bobcat excavators feature four selectable power modes, Power+ for maximum speed and digging, Power for tough jobs and heavy lifting, Standard for balanced performance and fuel efficiency, and Economy for optimal fuel savings during light work. Smart Power Control adjusts engine RPM, hydraulic pump torque, and engine response to match load demands.
Bobcat’s new L205, L235, L255, and L285 large wheel loaders, designed for heavy-duty load-and-carry tasks in construction, agriculture, and manufacturing. Built for high-production lifting, their bucket capacities vary by model: 2.5 cubic yards for the L205, 3 cubic yards for the L235, and 3.5 cubic yards for the L255 and L285.
The L235, L255, and L285 large wheel loaders come with three transmission modes: Manual for precise speed control, Auto 1-4 for automatic shifting based on power needs, and Auto 2-4 for lighter tasks with manual kickdown. All four models also feature three power modes, Power for maximum performance, Normal for daily tasks, and Economy for fuel efficiency. Powered by a turbocharged Tier 4 engine, they deliver consistent performance at any elevation.
