The new range extender module works alongside an internal combustion engine to increase EV range and flexibility while meeting strict emission standards. BorgWarner’s next-generation inverters and power electronics offer higher power density and improved thermal performance, enabling more compact, efficient, and reliable electric drive systems.
In the drivetrain segment, the company’s eTMS portfolio features active systems designed to enhance safety, handling, and efficiency. These solutions integrate control electronics and software to manage torque distribution, wheel slip, and drive module decoupling in real time.
BorgWarner’s thermal management innovations including high-voltage heaters, thermal modules, battery and power electronics eCoolers, and high-voltage eFans are engineered to maintain optimal operating temperatures across propulsion systems and vehicle cabins, ensuring performance, safety, and energy efficiency in diverse vehicle architectures.
