Hudson, Illinois - Brandt, Inc., a construction company, has launched the BMH60A, a North American-Built Material Handler for the steel manufacturing, scrap metal, and recycling industries. Designed, manufactured, and supported entirely in North America, the BMH60A addresses a longstanding demand for a reliable, locally serviceable heavy-duty machine.

Purpose-built for demanding industrial applications, the BMH60A is engineered for maximum power, efficiency, and uptime. It incorporates proven John Deere components aligned with North American standards, simplifying maintenance and expediting parts availability.

Mr. Jason Klassen, Senior VP Sales of Manufactured Products at Brandt, said, “Locally accessible parts and service is a real gamechanger for the industry. It will have a huge impact on uptime, because you won’t have to wait for parts coming from overseas. As well, because this material handler is built on proven John Deere components, it delivers exceptional reliability along with those easy-to-find and maintain parts. This is a machine you can truly count on.”

Key features of the BMH60A include rapid cycle times for enhanced jobsite productivity, an energy recovery system, and auto-idle/shutdown functionality that collectively boost fuel efficiency and reduce operating costs. The machine is also designed with operator comfort in mind, offering improved visibility, intuitive controls, and ergonomic features.

The BMH60A is the result of Brandt’s collaborative design process, which involved extensive feedback from contractors and equipment operators across the sector. This user-driven approach ensured the machine meets real-world operational needs.

Mr. Chris Semple, President of Manufactured Products at Brandt, said, “We collaborated with the people who would be using this machine to ensure it would improve productivity, reduce downtime, and provide a lower cost of operation. The feedback we have received so far has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are very proud to release the BMH60A to better serve the industry.”

With the introduction of the BMH60A, Brandt reaffirms its commitment to delivering rugged, reliable, and serviceable equipment designed specifically for North American industrial needs.
