Nashville, United States- Bridgestone Americas Inc., (Bridgestone) has launched the all-new Firestone FS592 steer tire, designed for long-haul and regional trucking fleets. This new “set-it-and-forget-it” workhorse features an additional 32nd of tread depth and a wider footprint, offering more removal miles than its predecessor while maintaining a trusted, durable tread pattern.
Available in four sizes, the EPA SmartWay-certified FS592 is built with Bridgestone’s next-generation ENLITEN technology, delivering enhanced performance, improved fuel efficiency, and reduced environmental impact.
The FS592 officially replaces the Firestone FS591, one of the most widely recommended steer tires by fleets across the U.S. Building on the FS591’s strong reputation for durability, the FS592 introduces new features that improve reliability and long-lasting value. It offers 17% longer life, providing an average of 18,000 more miles compared to its predecessor.
The tire’s ultra-durable casing, engineered with ENLITEN technology, ensures greater retread ability, durability, and better rolling resistance. Its advanced tread design includes defence grooves and an optimized shoulder rib to balance wear and resist tearing. Additionally, the five-rib pattern enhances even wear and performance across various applications.
