Nashville, United States- Bridgestone Americas Inc., has introduced the new Bridgestone W920 tire, built to deliver reliable, year-round performance for trucking fleets. Designed for tandem-axle radial drive applications, the W920 combines all-weather capability with Bridgestone’s next-generation ENLITEN technology, engineered to extend tire life, maximize traction, and advance sustainability goals.
Mr. Brad Booth, Director, Canadian Commercial Sales, Bridgestone Americas, said, "Weather plays a significant role in every fleet's journey. Our aim with the W920 is to mitigate risks and elements that weather brings to the road and give drivers more confidence in these uncertain conditions. The Bridgestone W920 tire with ENLITEN technology illustrates our company's passion for bringing products to the market that directly respond to the needs of fleets in different regions."
The Bridgestone W920 is the third ENLITEN tire introduced for the commercial truck segment in 2025, reflecting Bridgestone’s commitment to advanced engineering that meets fleet performance needs while supporting sustainability goals. Building on the success of its predecessor, the W919, the W920 offers several key enhancements:
- All-Weather Performance – Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake certified, the W920 delivers dependable traction in both rain and snow.
- Extended Wear Life – Offers 6% longer life, equating to an estimated 10,000 more miles (17,000 km) than the Michelin XDS 2, helping fleets go farther.
- Optimized Tread Pattern – A non-directional tread simplifies mounting, rotation, and maintenance. Enhanced stone rejector platforms, specialized tread compounds, and full-depth sipes provide added all-weather protection.
- Superior Retreadability – Built with a premium casing designed to support multiple retread cycles, maximizing tire value and lifecycle.
