Birmingham, UK- BSA Company Ltd., is a motorcycle manufacturer, has launched its latest motorcycle, the BSA Thunderbolt, at EICMA 2025, signaling the brand’s bold entry into the global adventure motorcycling segment. Set to hit markets by mid-2026, the Thunderbolt is designed to tackle every kind of terrain – from city streets to gravel tracks, through rain, mud, and dust – combining classic BSA spirit with modern adventure engineering.

Built for weekday commutes and weekend escapades, the Thunderbolt features rugged, rally-inspired styling including a rally-style beak, rear luggage rack, and an upswept exhaust for superior water-wading ability. Riders benefit from premium traction control, three ABS modes (Rain, Road, and Off-Road), and a preload-adjustable mono-shock rear suspension for versatile performance.

The bike’s adjustable windscreen and instrument console ensure visibility and comfort in all riding conditions, while a low seat height, lightweight design, and wide handlebars provide class-leading manoeuvrability. Its reinforced bash plate, exoskeleton frame, knuckle guards, and high ground clearance add durability and protection across challenging terrains.

At its heart, the Thunderbolt houses a 334cc Euro 5+ compliant liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine, delivering strong torque, efficiency, and performance through a six-speed gearbox. A large fuel tank, pillion-friendly layout, and ample luggage space make it ideal for long-distance travel and adventure touring.

The Thunderbolt is based on Classic Legends’ global adventure motorcycle platform, designed to serve multiple brands under its portfolio – BSA, Jawa, and Yezdi – while maintaining each one’s unique identity.

Mr. Anupam Thareja, Co-founder of Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd., said, “This is the best 350 adventure bike in the world. Don’t believe me – just test ride it and prove me wrong.

Today we revealed the new BSA Thunderbolt at EICMA, built on our global adventure platform. This approach allows our brands – BSA, Jawa, and Yezdi – to share engineering efficiency while keeping their individual character intact.

The BSA signature remains true to its legacy – the design silhouette, the records, and the memories. Unveiling the Thunderbolt at the world’s largest motorcycle show marks our commitment to bringing BSA back to the world stage.”

Mr. Boman Irani, Director and Co-founder of Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd., said, “The new BSA Thunderbolt is adventure-ready and engineered to go the distance. With its blend of on- and off-road prowess, performance, and rider confidence, it’s made for those with a ‘go anywhere, do anything’ attitude.

The Thunderbolt follows the launches of the BSA Bantam 350 and the BSA Scrambler 650, both of which also made their Italian debut at EICMA this year.

The Bantam 350, described as a modern classic, pays homage to the original Bantam that helped post-war Britain get moving again in the 1940s. Meanwhile, the Scrambler 650 draws inspiration from BSA’s competitive off-road machines of the 1950s and 1960s, blending a rugged 652cc single-cylinder engine with contemporary engineering for versatile everyday performance.
