Coimbatore - Bull Machines Pvt Ltd., a construction equipment manufacturer, has officially entered the U.S. skid steer market with the launch of its new AV740 at ConExpo, marking the brand’s first major step into one of the world’s most competitive compact equipment segments.

The AV740 is powered by a 74-hp Kubota V3307-DI-T engine and is designed to deliver strong performance across a wide range of jobsite applications. It offers a rated operating capacity of 2,969 pounds, a tipping load of 5,939 pounds, a bucket capacity of 15.5 cubic feet, and an operating weight of 9,418 pounds.

One of the standout features of the AV740 is its vertical-lift arm path. Bull India says this hydraulic design helps keep the bucket on a more consistent vertical trajectory as it rises, giving operators improved reach at full lift height, better lift performance, and enhanced machine balance.

The machine also features a direct engine-to-hydraulic pump engagement system, which, according to the company, helps reduce power losses between the engine and hydraulic setup. With a high-flow option and standard auxiliary hydraulics, the AV740 is compatible with a variety of attachments such as buckets, trenchers, and cold planers.

Inside the cab, operators are provided with an adjustable air suspension seat and dual joystick controls for improved comfort and handling. Safety features include a lift-up safety bar that disables machine movement and attachment hydraulics while automatically engaging the parking brake. An in-cab display provides key operating data including fuel level, temperature, RPM, engine hours, and a live view from the standard rear camera.

Bull India has also equipped the AV740 with its Smooth Rider System as standard, designed to reduce operator movement and improve ride comfort when travelling over uneven surfaces or roadways. Optional features available on the AV740 include HVAC, a beacon light, two-speed drive mode, a heavy-duty 20.5-cubic-foot bucket, reversible cutting edge, telematics hardware, and self-leveling.
