Cars Launches at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025

New Delhi - At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, several carmakers showcased new models, including:

  • Hyundai: Creta Electric, Staria, Ioniq 9
  • BMW: iX1 LWB, X3, Mini Cooper S JCW
  • Tata Motors: Avinya Brand, Sierra, Harrier EV, Bandipur edition Safari, Harrier, Nexon EV and Stealth editions of the Harrier EV and Safari
  • MG Motor: Majestor, Cyberster EV, Astor, MG M9, MG 7
  • Skoda: Superb, Octavia vRS, Kodiaq, Elroq, Vision 7S
  • Maruti: Brezza "Powerplay" concept, e-Vitara
  • Vayve Mobility: Vayve Eva
  • VinFast: VF 3, VF e34, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, VF 9

Hyundai Motor Company., an automotive manufacturer, showcased the Creta Electric, Staria and Ioniq 9. The Creta Electric offers two battery options (42kWh/390km range, 51.4kWh/473km range) in four variants. The Staria MPV, 5.2m long, seats up to 11 and comes with a 3.5L V6 or 2.2L diesel engine, with automatic or manual transmission. The Ioniq 9 SUV features parametric pixel lamps, a 110.3kWh battery, and fast charging in 24 minutes, with RWD (214bhp) and AWD (308bhp) versions.

BMW AG., a luxury vehicles company, unveiled the iX1 LWB, X3, and Mini Cooper S JCW pack. The BMW iX1 LWB has a 112mm longer wheelbase, 66.4kWh battery (531 km range), and 204 hp motor, reaching 0-100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. The M Sport version features a 10.25-inch display, Harman Kardon sound, massage seats, and Level-2 ADAS. The BMW X3 offers xDrive20 petrol and diesel variants, with a 2.0L engine (193-200 PS), 19-inch alloys, and Level-2 ADAS. The Mini Cooper S JCW pack has sporty styling, a 2.0L turbo engine (204 PS), and features a 9.4-inch OLED screen, HUD, and Level-1 ADAS.

Tata Motors Limited., an automobile manufacturer, debuted the various models. The Avinya brand launching in 2026, offering models based on JLR's EMA architecture with up to 500 km range. The Sierra combines modern design with traditional elements, featuring a wide dashboard, JBL sound, and two engine options. The Harrier EV, with a dual-motor setup and 500 Nm torque, includes V2L/V2V charging and Level-2 ADAS. The Bandipur edition Safari, Harrier, and Nexon EV feature unique bronze paint and "Elephant Mascot" badges. The Stealth editions of the Harrier EV and Safari come in matte black with premium interiors.

MG Motor., a car manufacturer, showcased the MG Majestor, Cyberster EV, Astor, MG M9, and MG 7. The MG Majestor, a facelifted MG Gloster, offers a 216 hp 2.0L turbo petrol engine, digital display, and premium features like a panoramic sunroof and 12-speaker system. The MG Cyberster EV, with dual motors producing 510 PS and 725 Nm, features a 77-kWh battery, 443 km range, scissor doors, and a tri-screen setup. The new-gen MG Astor offers a 1.5L hybrid engine (196 PS), LED DRLs, a 12.3-inch screen, and Level-2 ADAS. The MG M9 electric MUV has a 90-kWh battery, 244 PS motor, 430 km range, and a minimalist interior with 3 screens. The MG 7 Trophy sedan features a 2.0L turbo petrol engine (265 PS), racing seats, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and a panoramic sunroof.

SKODA AUTO a.s., an automobile manufacturer, unveiled the Skoda Superb, Octavia vRS, Kodiaq, Elroq, and Vision 7S. The new-gen Skoda Superb offers a 13-inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, and Level-2 ADAS. The Skoda Octavia vRS has a sportier design with a 265 PS engine, 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. The new Skoda Kodiaq features a 13-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital display, and 2.0L turbo engine. The Skoda Elroq electric SUV has a 13-inch floating screen, connected tech, and ranges from 375 km to 581 km. Skoda Vision 7S concept previews a futuristic 7-seater SUV with a minimalist interior and rotating touchscreen.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., an automaker company, showcased the Brezza "Powerplay" concept and e-Vitara. The Brezza "Powerplay" concept features an orange paint scheme, "Brezza" graphics, and includes an 8-inch touchscreen, HUD, 360-degree camera, and connected car tech. It’s powered by a 1.5L petrol or CNG engine with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed AT. The Maruti e-Vitara offers 49kWh (142bhp) and 61kWh (172bhp) battery options, with a 500km range. It has LED headlights, body cladding, a 10.1-inch infotainment system, Level 2 ADAS, and Harman Kardon audio, along with ventilated seats and seven airbags.

Vayve Mobility Private Limited., a car manufacturer, debuted the Vayve Eva, features a modern design with LED DRLs, circular headlights, and a solar panel on the roof. It has 13-inch wheels and a dual-tone rear with an LED tail light strip. Inside, it offers three seats, dual digital displays, and a 6-way adjustable driver's seat. Safety includes an airbag for the driver and 3-point seatbelts.

VinFast Auto Ltd., an electric car company, showcased the VF 3, VF e34, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8 and VF 9 models. The VF 3 is a compact electric hatchback with a 43.5 hp motor, 210 km range, and fast charging. The VF e34 is a mid-size electric SUV with 150 hp, 318.6 km range, and a 10-inch screen. The VF 6 is a 5-seater SUV with two variants: Eco (178 hp, 399 km range) and Plus (204 hp, 381 km range). The VF 7 offers two variants: Eco (204 hp, 450 km range) and Plus (354 hp, 431 km range). The VF 8 is a large SUV with 412 km range, 87.7 kWh battery, and AWD variants. The VF 9 is a 3-row SUV with 531 km range, 408 hp, and luxury features.
