Racine, Wisconsin - Case IH., a brand under CNH Industrial and an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced a new artificial intelligence-powered visual search tool to simplify and speed up the process of identifying and ordering replacement parts. The tool allows users to take a photo of a part using their smartphone or desktop device to quickly find its part number and order it.

Optimized for mobile use but also accessible via desktop, the visual search tool requires only a clear photo of the part. Users can further refine their search by entering the machine's model or serial number. For the best results, Case IH recommends photographing the part in isolation against a plain background. However, the system has proven effective even when parts are still installed or damaged.

Mr. Paul Zirk, E-commerce marketing representative at Case IH, said, “The site is easy to use and geared toward customers. Once you upload a photo, it takes you to a parts listing page, and you can filter down from there to the exact part you need. We’ve taken pictures of burned parts, rusty parts, and had good results come back. I took a picture of a muffler, and the system was intelligent enough to identify the individual components of that muffler.”

Currently, the tool supports Case IH’s latest production tractor models, with plans to expand coverage to more equipment lines, including legacy models in the future.

The launch marks a significant step in enhancing service efficiency and customer experience in agricultural machinery maintenance.
