St. Valentin, Austria – Case IH., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced Model Year 2027 updates across its baler range, focusing on productivity, uptime, durability and easier operation for farmers and contractors.
The LB4 and LB6 large square balers receive a new Rotor Feeder option for steady crop flow and higher throughput. The Rotor Cutter version is now available with up to 57 knives, supported by a lighter knife drawer, individual knife protection and easy cut-length adjustment.
A new driveline system with hydraulic-controlled slip clutch, torque measurement and real-time load indication helps operators maintain optimum capacity. Case IH has also added a new Large Square Baler Automation interface for simpler single-screen operation.
The RB6 round balers gain a stronger bale chamber, upgraded components and factory-ready Tractor and Baler Automation, which can stop the tractor, wrap and eject the bale with minimal operator input.
For heavy-duty users, the RB6 HD Pro adds crop-flow improvements and enhanced Case IH FieldOps connectivity, enabling bale tracking, mapping and field performance data for better fleet and logistics management.
Case IH is also introducing Nature’s Net Wrap for RB6 and RB6 HD Pro balers. Made from plant-based materials, the compostable wrap helps reduce plastic waste while maintaining bale integrity.
According to Marco Otten, EMEA Product Manager Balers, the updates are designed to help operators manage tight weather windows, rising costs and labour challenges with more consistent baling performance.
The Model Year 2027 Case IH baler range will be available from the third quarter of 2027.
