Racine, Wisconsin - Case IH., an agricultural machinery brand under CNH Industrial America LLC., has upgraded its Farmall C Series tractors, offering revised models with 100-117hp that now include the ManualDrive transmission as an alternative to the established ActiveDrive 2. These tractors will be available with either a cab or ROPS to suit various customer preferences.
The ManualDrive transmission features a 12 forward/12 reverse speed setup (or 20×20 with creeper) and includes an electronic, clutchless power shuttle with adjustable response speed. This design reduces operator fatigue, making the tractors especially well-suited for loader work. Additionally, customers can now specify a maximum rear tire size of 540/65 R38 to enhance grip and performance in tillage, planting, and heavy-duty tasks.
Both transmission options come equipped with the new ActiveClutch system, which disengages the engine-transmission connection when the footbrakes are applied, further reducing operator strain and improving ease of use. The Case IH L635 loader, available factory-fitted, offers a lift capacity of 2.0 tons up to 3.8 meters and features an auto-locking, fast multi-coupler, mechanical self-leveling, and a third function option.
Despite maintaining compact size, the Farmall C tractors benefit from increased capabilities through upgraded components. A higher-flow hydraulic pump (82 l/min) boosts implement performance, while the permissible gross vehicle weight has been increased to 7.0 tons, allowing for heavier loads and greater efficiency.
Comfort and ergonomics are improved with a new digital instrument panel featuring adaptive lighting and enhanced LED lights for better visibility. Optional ISOBUS Class 2 autoguidance and instant data upload to the FieldOps platform offer improved precision and easy data management.
