ChargeZone appoints Pritesh Kumar as Director of Business Development to boost EV charging expansion and innovation across India.

Vadodara- Tecso Charge Zone Private Limited (Chargezone)., has appointed Mr. Pritesh Kumar as Director of Business Development. With nearly two decades of leadership experience in the automotive industry, Pritesh will focus on enhancing B2B and B2C operations, improving CRM campaigns, and advancing Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) solutions. He will also work on optimizing infrastructure efficiency and expanding service accessibility across India.
Before joining ChargeZone, Pritesh Kumar held various leadership roles in business development, institutional sales, channel expansion, and strategic marketing. At Mahindra & Mahindra, he headed Institutional Sales and New Age Business, where he spearheaded innovative programs targeting alternate business segments, launched digitization initiatives to enhance product resale value, and developed a tertiary channel in rural markets, doubling market contributions. Notably, he secured significant government contracts, including a landmark deal with the Indian Army.

ChargeZone is rapidly expanding its high-speed charging network for electric buses, trucks, and personal vehicles. By the end of this fiscal year, it aims to add 25 new supercharging stations, reaching a total of 500 stations with capacities from 360KW to 1.2MW. Over the next six months, ChargeZone plans to deploy more high-speed superchargers to enhance EV charging accessibility and efficiency for 4W vehicles. The company already partners with leading automotive brands, including Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, and Switch Mobility.
