      Chennai- Ashok Leyland Limited., of the Hinduja Group and a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, together with Switch Mobility and Tamil NRIs based in the United States, has gifted a double-decker bus to the Tamil Nadu Tourism Department.

      Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru M.K. Stalin inaugurated Chennai’s new double-decker tourism bus service, designed to connect the city’s iconic landmarks and heritage sites.

      The service is intended to give residents and visitors an engaging way to explore Chennai’s cultural and architectural heritage, while also supporting sustainable and modern urban mobility.

      This initiative reinforces Ashok Leyland’s commitment to sustainable transportation and reflects its long-standing partnership with Tamil Nadu in advancing innovation-driven growth in public and tourist mobility.
