CLAAS unveils an updated version of the NEXOS 200 COMFORT with a new four-pillar cab, improved design, comfort, and automatic functions at EIMA 2024.
Date: November 15, 2024Harsewinkel, Germany - CLAAS KGaA mbH., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, introduces an updated NEXOS 200 COMFORT at EIMA, featuring a new four-pillar cab, enhanced design, comfort, and automatic functions.
The NEXOS 200 COMFORT range from CLAAS offers models with 85 to 120 hp, a 3.6L FPT engine, Stage V SCR aftertreatment, and a 100L fuel tank. With optional PROACTIV front axle and widths from 1.0 to 1.55 meters, it's designed for tough tasks in vineyards, orchards, and municipal work.
The NEXOS 200 COMFORT features a larger, four-pillar cab with wide-opening doors for better visibility, comfort, and safety. A flat floor improves ride comfort, while ergonomic controls and a new high-quality, anti-slip leather steering wheel, typically found in larger CLAAS tractors, enhance the driving experience.
The NEXOS COMFORT features new LED rear lights, side-marker lights, indicators, and stronger LED work lights. The optional DYNAMIC STEERING function reduces steering effort, requiring just 1.5 turns to go from lock to lock, making it ideal for frequent turning in narrow orchards.
The TWINSHIFT transmission offers 30 forward and 15 reverse gears, with a REVERSHIFT clutchless reverser. It reaches a top speed of 40 km/h at a quiet, fuel-efficient 1,650 rpm.
The SMART STOP function enhances comfort by automatically disengaging the transmission when the brake is pressed and re-engaging when released. With range shifting via the clutch button and electrohydraulic direction changes with REVERSHIFT, the NEXOS COMFORT can now be driven without using the clutch pedal.
