Harsewinkel, Germany - CLAAS KGaA mbH., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, will present its latest high-performance forage harvesting and tractor technology at this year’s ScotGrass event, led by the UK working debut of the world record-breaking Jaguar 1000 series forage harvester.
The Jaguar 1000 series is designed for high-output forage harvesting, with power ranging from 850 hp to 1,110 hp and a harvesting capacity of up to 480 tonnes per hour. Its capability was demonstrated when a Jaguar 1200 set a new world forage harvesting record by harvesting 4,096 tonnes of whole crop wheat in 12 hours.
The Jaguar 1000 features a 910 mm crop flow channel, described as the widest on the market, along with a new hydraulic pre-compression system for smooth crop intake. The V-FLEX chopping cylinder uses blades angled at 10 degrees to deliver consistent chop quality, while an updated hydraulically adjustable accelerator supports higher crop flow.
To improve operator efficiency, the machine is equipped with CEMOS Auto Crop Flow, CEMOS Auto Performance and Auto Fill, which automatically controls the chute and end flap.
CLAAS will also display the new-generation Axion 9 TT Cmatic, which was named Tractor of the Year in the high-horsepower category, along with the all-new Arion 6.190 Cmatic. Other machines on show will include the latest Rollant 630 RC and Cerex 700 RC round balers, as well as Disco Contour mowers.
