Harsewinkel, Germany - CLAAS KGaA mbH., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has launched its updated DISCO 1100 C BUSINESS and DISCO 1100 RC BUSINESS large-scale disc mowers, featuring working widths of 9.70 to 10.70 meters. The new models introduce a choice of three conditioner options, including steel rollers for the first time, and a reinforced design to enhance durability and performance.
CLAAS has updated its DISCO 1100 BUSINESS mowers with reinforced telescopic arms and ACTIVE FLOAT suspension for better ground following and comfort. The arms adjust hydraulically to optimize overlap, while keeping transport height below 4 meters. At the heart is the durable MAX CUT mower bar, offering clean cuts, lower PTO speed, and low maintenance thanks to features like tungsten carbide-coated blade holders and SAFETY LINK safety modules.
The updated CLAAS DISCO 1100 BUSINESS mowers offer three conditioner choices: a gentle polyurethane roller for leafy crops, an aggressive steel roller for thick-stemmed crops, and a tine conditioner with Y-steel tines for intensive grass conditioning. All models include durable swathing plates and Hardox steel bonnets, while RC versions add telescopic swath plates for narrower swaths down to 0.90 m, ideal for delicate crops.
The BUSINESS models feature ISOBUS and load-sensing for easier, semi-automated control via CEBIS, CEMIS 700, or CEMIS 1200 terminals. CLAAS connect adds digital tools like manuals, parts ordering, and harvest planning with satellite maps and data insights.
Through these updates, CLAAS aims to deliver higher productivity, greater reliability, and simplified operation for large-scale mowing - meeting the evolving needs of contractors, cooperatives, and professional farmers worldwide.
