Suffolk, England – Claydon Yield-o-Meter Ltd., an agricultural machinery company, has expanded its range of front hoppers with the launch of the new SFH2000 Evolution Single Front Hopper, offering a 2,000-litre capacity and enhanced flexibility for a variety of seeding and fertilising applications.
Designed to complement the company’s existing Double Front Hopper, the new model is 150mm lower and 100mm narrower, making it more compact and accessible for a wider range of farm setups. Despite its smaller footprint, the SFH2000 features a large 1,800mm x 750mm lid opening for easier filling, and includes removable stainless steel meshes, a single metering unit, two hopper level sensors, and a metering unit empty sensor.
Fully ISOBUS compatible, the new hopper supports small, medium, or large interchangeable metering wheels, providing versatility for different application rates. Product is transferred to the rear toolbar via a standard 112mm transfer tube.
For added customization, Claydon offers several optional features, including a light and vision kit, up to 550kg of ballast, packer wheels with passive steering, and wheel scrapers, allowing users to tailor the system to specific field conditions and operational needs.
