Montreal, Canada - CM Labs Simulations, Inc., a simulation-based solutions provider for training heavy equipment operators, has announced a major enhancement to its tracked excavator training add-on module, now featuring full integration with Trimble Earthworks and its Trimble Autos technology. This marks the only simulator solution on the market to offer such in-depth Trimble integration, delivering a highly realistic and precise training environment for construction operators.

By combining CM Labs’ industry-leading soil simulation with Trimble’s advanced machine control technology, Trimble Autos automatically adjusts the stick and bucket to maintain exact alignment with the design surface. This functionality enables operators to achieve precise depth and grade control while receiving real-time feedback, helping them build efficient habits and reduce costly errors before operating actual equipment.

Operators can choose from a variety of pre-installed design files and apply them to designated earthwork zones, ensuring diverse and engaging training sessions. The system allows trainees to practice multiple excavation challenges, developing the precision and confidence needed for real-world operations.

Currently available as part of the Trimble Earthworks add-on module, the Trimble Autos feature will soon expand to other earthmoving equipment. It adds to CM Labs’ growing range of machine control simulation modules, reinforcing its commitment to delivering authentic, field-ready training solutions.

Mr. Alan Limoges, Manager of Product Growth and Partnerships at CM Labs, said, “CM Labs has the only training simulator solution with such an in-depth integration. It gives operators a safe and cost-effective way to master machine control before ever touching real equipment, helping construction teams minimize rework, material waste, and jobsite errors while building confidence and proficiency. The skills developed with Trimble Earthworks translate seamlessly to other Machine Control Systems (MCS), preparing operators to perform effectively across multiple platforms.”

With this integration, CM Labs continues to set new benchmarks in construction simulation, offering the most comprehensive and realistic excavator training solution available to the industry.
