CNH Industrial introduces new crop blockage prevention technology, customizable steering, and more for FR Forage Cruiser self-propelled harvesters.
Date: November 7, 2024London, United Kingdom - CNH Industrial N.V., an agricultural machinery manufacturer has introduced upgrades for the 2025 New Holland FR Forage Cruiser harvesters, including crop blockage prevention, CustomSteer for quicker turns, and enhanced cab controls. The new models (FR480 to FR920) feature improved wear parts and reduced ownership costs, following the launch of the upgraded UltraFeed grass pick-up.
New Holland introduces an industry-first blockage prevention system for the FR Forage Cruiser, using a spout-mounted radar sensor to detect crop flow changes and prevent blockages. Additionally, the upgraded IntelliFill system offers automated trailer filling over a 210° arc, with a new user interface providing real-time feedback on the filling process.
New Holland’s FR Forage Cruiser features CustomSteer for faster headland turns and enhanced operator comfort. The updated NutriSense NIR sensor enables precise crop nutrient data, and the new Connectivity Included offers subscription-free connectivity for real-time data sharing with IntelliField.
The FR Forage Cruiser cab is now quieter, roomier, and more user-friendly, with 12.5% more floor space, upgraded seating, and improved sound insulation. The new 30cm IntelliView™ IV Plus touchscreen offers faster performance and better visibility, with the option for a second display for enhanced functionality. The electronics architecture has also been updated for improved reactivity.
