The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, held from January 17 to 22, showcased electric, hybrid, and alternative-fuel commercial vehicles, with a focus on innovations in urban mobility solutions.

Noida/New Delhi - The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, held from January 17 to 22, was organized by the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. It took place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. The event showcased electric, hybrid, and alternative-fuel commercial vehicles, with a focus on innovations in urban mobility solutions.
Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai, a commercial vehicle manufacturer showcased SAATHI, a premium entry-level Light Commercial Vehicle, GARUD 15, a multi-axle, front-engine 15-meter premium bus, and the Electric Port Terminal Tractor.
SAATHI is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine producing 45 HP and 110Nm torque. It features a 5-speed manual gearbox, hydraulic brakes, and parabolic leaf spring suspension. With a GVW of 2288 kg, rated payload of 1120 kg, and a 40L fuel tank, it offers a maximum speed of 80 km/h. Its dimensions are 4406mm (L), 1663mm (W), and 1833mm (H), with an 8-ft cargo deck.
GARUD 15 is a multi-axle, front-engine 15-meter premium bus, designed for long-distance intercity travel. It features a 300 HP engine, a 22,500 kg GVW, 42 sleeper berths, and a luggage compartment. With air suspension and advanced safety features, it offers comfort and efficiency for intercity journeys.
Electric Port Terminal Tractor features a customizable battery range of 180 km to 350 km. It is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and hill start assist for improved safety. Designed for heavy-duty port operations, this fully electric tractor aims to enhance operational efficiency while reducing emissions.

Cummins Inc of Pune, a power technology company showcased next-generation HELM engine platforms, featuring L10 engine, an advanced hydrogen fuel delivery system (FDS), and the B6.7N natural gas engine.

The B6.7N natural gas engine delivers diesel-equivalent performance with lower carbon emissions, supporting the adoption of CNG and LNG fuels in heavy-duty vehicles. It underscores Cummins commitment to providing solutions that maintain cost-efficiency, reliability, and operational effectiveness during the energy transition.
Integrated CV powertrain solutions enhance productivity, fuel efficiency, and reduce environmental impact. EKA Mobility of Pune, an electric vehicle manufacturer and a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries Limited showcased a range of commercial vehicles including Electric Buses, Electric Trucks, and Electric Small Commercial Vehicles.
ELECTRIC BUSES:
EKA COACH is a fully stainless-steel electric luxury bus designed for long-distance travel. It combines durability, safety, and premium comfort, making it ideal for extended journeys with a focus on passenger experience and high-end features.
The EKA 7M, 9M, and 12M are electric buses with varying sizes and capacities. The 7M is a 6.95-meter bus with 19 seats, powered by a 124-kW motor and a 100-kWh battery, offering a range of 160 km. The 9M is a 9.2-meter bus with 35 seats, 213 kW motor, and a 200-kWh battery, also with a 160 km range. The 12M is a 12-meter bus with 54 seats, a 240-kW motor, and a 300-kWh battery, providing a range of 250 km. All models have fast charging capabilities, monocoque chassis, and are equipped with air conditioning and modern amenities.
The EKA LF is an electric urban bus with a 160-kW motor, 75 km/h top speed, and 35-passenger capacity. It features air conditioning, electronic suspension, safety systems, and a 580-660 V battery, designed for efficient and accessible city transport.
ELECTRIC TRUCKS:
The EKA 55T is a pure-electric heavy-duty truck designed for long-haul logistics, offering a 200 km range, 43,000 kg payload capacity, and fast-charging capabilities.
The EKA 7T is a mid-range electric truck with a 200 km range, 3,500 kg payload capacity, and optimized efficiency for urban logistics and intra-city operations.
SCV RANGE:
EKA 3.5T, 2.5T, and 1.5T, designed for urban and inter-city logistics. The 3.5T is suited for diverse delivery needs, the 2.5T offers flexibility, and the 1.5T is ideal for last-mile deliveries. These vehicles provide sustainable, zero-emission solutions for efficient transportation.
EKA 3W CARGO is an electric three-wheeler designed for urban last-mile deliveries, offering a top speed of 60 km/h and a range of 90-100 km on a 10-kWh battery. Its closed body ensures goods protection, making it ideal for city logistics.

Montra Electric Pvt Ltd of Chennai, an electric vehicle manufacturer and a subsidiary of the esteemed Murugappa Group and a venture under TI Clean Mobility showcased an ‘EVIATOR’ (e SCV) and Super Cargo (e 3-Wheeler).
EVIATOR e-SCV boasts a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 3.5 tons, featuring a certified range of 245 km and a real-life range of 170 km. It offers 300 Nm of torque and 80 kW of power.
Super Cargo is an e-3W with a GVW of 1.2 tons, offering a certified range of over 200 km and a real-life range of 150 km. It comes in three cargo body types and includes an option for a full charge in just 15 minutes.

Omega Seiki Mobility of New Delhi, an electric vehicle company showcased the M1KA 1.0 electric truck, the upcoming M1KA 3.0 model.
Omega Seiki M1KA 1.0 electric truck has dimensions of 4,730 x 1,670 x 1,960 mm, a 3,050 mm wheelbase, and a 1,320 kg kerb weight. It offers 1-ton payload, 80 km/h max speed, and 150 km range. Powered by a 60-kW motor, 38.7 kWh battery, and 6.6 kW charger, it features automatic transmission, MacPherson front suspension, and electric power steering.
Omega Seiki M1KA 3.0 is an electric six-wheeler truck with a 170 HP motor, 415 Nm torque, and a top speed of 90 km/h. It offers a range of 180 km on a 96.7 kWh battery and has a GVW of 5,500 kg with a payload capacity of 3,000 kg. The truck features fast charging, independent suspension, and drum brakes with ABS, designed for efficient urban logistics.

Eicher Trucks & Buses of New Delhi, a business unit of VE Commercial Vehicles, showcased the Pro 8035XM Electric Tipper and the 13.5-meter-long Intercity Coach EV.
Eicher Pro 8035XM electric tipper powered by a VEDX8 engine with a 35,000 kg GVW, features a 190 kW PMSM motor delivering 1800 Nm of torque. It has a top speed of 80 km/h, excellent gradeability, and durable tyres. Equipped with S-Cam brakes, robust suspensions, and a 5285 mm wheelbase, it offers optimal performance in construction and mining tasks.
Eicher 13.5-meter Intercity Coach Electric Bus is designed for long-distance travel with a 500 km range on a single charge. It features fast charging capabilities, allowing for a 45-minute recharge, and incorporates eco-friendly design and future-ready technologies for sustainable passenger transport.

Volvo Trucks, a part of Volvo Group, showcased the FM 420 4X2 LNG tractor and the FM 4X2 tractor.
Volvo FM 420 LNG 4x2 tractor features a 12.8-liter, 420 HP engine with 2,100 Nm torque and a Gross Vehicle Weight of 18 tons. It incorporates HPDI technology for a 20% CO₂ reduction, achieving up to 100% reduction with Bio LNG. With a Euro VI emission standard, the truck offers a comfortable, safe cab with advanced visibility features.
Volvo FM 420 4x2 tractor features a 12.8L engine with 420 HP and 2,100 Nm torque, paired with a 12-speed gearbox and I-Roll for fuel efficiency. It has a 3,500 mm wheelbase, air suspension, and a tiltable sleeper cab for comfort. Designed for long-haul transport, it offers durability and performance.
Volvo Fuel Efficiency Services use telematics and VR training via Volvo Connect to analyze driver performance, provide personalized training, and enhance fleet efficiency and safety.

SML Isuzu Ltd of Chandigarh, a commercial vehicle manufacturer, showcased the Samrat XT Plus Tipper, Hiroi.ev electric bus, Premium Hiroi Bus, and AASAI MX for urban transport.
Samrat XT Plus Tipper Truck features a 114 HP engine, 11,100 kg GVW, 6,900 kg payload, and a 6-speed manual gearbox. It has a 90-liter fuel tank, air brakes with ABS, and a turning radius of 11.9 meters, making it ideal for heavy-duty operations.
SML Isuzu Hiroi.ev is an electric bus with a 200-kW motor, 200 kWh battery offering a 180 km range, and a top speed of 75 km/h. It seats 32 passengers, charges in 2-4 hours, and features advanced safety systems.
SML Isuzu Premium Hiroi Bus (3430 mm wheelbase) features a 113 hp diesel engine, 180-liter fuel tank, and 22+1 seating capacity. It offers air brakes, ABS, and a 5-speed manual gearbox, designed for staff shuttle services.
SML Isuzu AASAI MX features a 75-kW diesel engine, 90-liter fuel tank, and 12-passenger seating. It offers a 5-speed gearbox, ABS, and power steering, designed for urban transport efficiency.
Isuzu Motors Ltd of Chennai, an automobile manufacturer, showcased the D-MAX BEV, a battery electric vehicle (BEV) prototype, and D-MAX S-CAB Z.
Isuzu D-MAX BEV Prototype features a 130-kW dual-motor system, 66.9 kWh battery, 325 Nm torque, 1,000 kg payload, and 3,500 kg towing capacity. It offers a top speed of 130 km/h.
Isuzu D-MAX S-CAB Z features a 2.5L diesel engine (78 hp, 176 Nm), 5-speed manual transmission, 4x2 drive, and a 55L fuel tank. It offers a 7-inch touchscreen, dual airbags, and a 1,915 kg kerb weight.
SWITCH Mobility Ltd of Chennai, a subsidiary of the Hinduja Group, showcased the SWITCH IeV8, a 7.2T electric light commercial vehicle.
Switch IeV8 is an electric light commercial vehicle with a 72-kWh battery offering a 250 km range, 4,000 kg payload, and a top speed of 80 km/h. With fast-charging capabilities and ergonomic features like tiltable steering and a driver-centric AC cabin, it is designed for performance, sustainability, and comfort in mid-mile logistics.

Olectra Greentech Limited (OGL) of Hyderabad, an electric bus manufacturer, showcased Blade Battery Chassis, redesigned 12-meter Blade Battery Platform, and new 9-meter City and 12-meter Coach buses.
Olectra Blade Battery Chassis, a redesigned 12-meter Blade Battery Platform feature BYD's advanced blade battery technology, offering 30% more energy storage and 30% less weight compared to traditional LFP batteries. These platforms enable up to 500 km of range, have a lifespan of 5,000+ charge cycles, and improve vehicle stability and safety with their compact, low-center-of-gravity design.
Olectra 9-meter City Bus has a 35-passenger capacity, offers up to 200 km range, and charges in 2-3 hours. The 12-meter Coach Bus seats 45 passengers, offers up to 350 km range, and charges in 4-5 hours. Both feature Olectra's advanced blade battery technology for improved energy density and safety.

JBM Electric Vehicles Pvt Ltd of New Delhi, an electric bus manufacturer, showcased the luxury coach 'Galaxy', intercity bus 'Xpress', low-floor electric medical mobile unit 'e-MediLife', and the 9-meter electric tarmac coach 'e-SkyLife'.
JBM Galaxy is a 12-meter luxury electric coach with a 250-kW powertrain, seating for 45 passengers, and advanced amenities like Wi-Fi and mobile charging ports. It offers 6.05 cubic meters of luggage space.
JBM Xpress is a 12-meter electric intercity bus with a 41-passenger capacity, automatic transmission, and a gross vehicle weight of 19,400 kg. It features safety elements like seat belts and parking brakes.
JBM e-MediLife is a low-floor electric medical mobile unit with a 200-kW motor, 200 kWh battery, and a range of 180 km. It features ultra-fast charging and modular battery packs for efficient healthcare services.
JBM e-SkyLife is a 9-meter electric tarmac coach with a 268 HP motor, 95 km/h top speed, and zero tailpipe emissions, designed for efficient airport ground transportation.

VinFast Auto Ltd of Gurugram, an electric car company, showcased the VF Wild Concept, an electric pickup truck.
VinFast VF Wild Concept is an electric pickup truck with an all-wheel-drive dual-motor setup and an estimated range of at least 250 miles. It has a mid-size design, with a length of 209 inches and width of 79 inches. The truck includes a power-folding mid-gate, extending the cargo bed from 5 to 8 feet. The interior features rear-hinged doors for easy access to the back seat.
Mr. Jitender Murhadhya, Creative Director at the event, said, “VinFast debut was truly remarkable, and it quickly became one of the most talked-about brands at the exhibition. The Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 served as the perfect venue for VinFast to introduce its diverse range of electric solutions. The exhibit featured the VF Wild Concept is an electric pickup.”
