Continental Tires launched PremiumContact 6, ContiSeal tech, and Gen3 Truck Radials at a Wabco Chennai event.

Chennai - Continental Tires., a premium tire manufacturer, has launched PremiumContact 6 (PC6) tires and innovative ContiSeal technology at an exclusive track day at the Wabco Proving Ground in Chennai. The event also featured the Gen3 Truck Radial tyres from its commercial vehicle lineup, showcasing Continental commitment to comprehensive mobility solutions.

The PremiumContact 6, designed for India's diverse road conditions, combines advanced features for safety, performance, and comfort. Its Macroblock Technology ensures stability and cornering control, while the Silica Compound provides superior grip on wet and dry surfaces. The new asymmetric pattern design enhances grip with improved stiffness. Available in 17–20-inch rim sizes, the PC6 can be found at Continental Tires outlets across India.

ContiSeal technology revolutionizes tire safety by automatically sealing 85% of tread punctures up to 5 mm, ensuring uninterrupted journeys on challenging roads. A viscous sealant layer inside the tyre prevents air loss, even if the puncturing object dislodges. This innovation eliminates the need for spare wheels, offering superior safety, convenience, and a worry-free driving experience.

Continental Tires expands commercial vehicle range in India with new sizes 295/90 R20 and 235/75 R17.5, catering to diverse cargo and passenger needs. The 295/90 R20, with 5 advanced tread patterns, optimizes costs for hybrid and regional applications, while the 235/75 R17.5 ensures durability and mileage for LCV buses and trucks. These additions underscore Continental's commitment to efficiency and reliability in transport solutions.
