Maharashtra - Cooper Corporation., an engine and component manufacturer, has inaugurated new tractor manufacturing facility in Satara, Maharashtra. Also, Cooper unveiled NDC Series tractors, developed in collaboration with global partners such as Ricardo UK, Magna Steyr, Carraro, and Mita.
Maharashtra Public Works Minister Ch. ShivendraRaje Bhosale officially inaugurated the new facility, marking a significant milestone for Cooper Corporation. He was accompanied by Mr. Mahesh Shinde, Vice Chairman of Maharashtra Krushna Khore Vikas Mahamandal, and Mr. Clive Bagnall, Director of Global Product Development at Ricardo UK, who played a key role in the tractor development collaboration.
The NDC Series tractors are equipped with a high-performance 4-valve engine, dual-clutch transmission, and an impressive 3-meter turning radius for enhanced maneuverability. Notable features include a Bosch fuel system for optimal efficiency, ceramic-coated rings for durability, and a compacted graphite cylinder head for improved performance. Designed for versatility, these tractors cater to both agricultural operations and haulage needs, ensuring reliability across various farming and transport applications.
Mr. Farrokh N. Cooper, Chairman and Managing Director of Cooper Corporation, brings his background as an agriculture graduate and farmer to the venture. "This tractor is designed to enhance productivity, reduce operational costs and withstand farming conditions."
