Brussels, Belgium- CRRC Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. (CRRC EV), a subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Ltd., showcased its commitment to sustainable transportation at Busworld Europe 2025 under the theme “Pioneering Green Mobility Solutions for a Sustainable Future.” The company unveiled two cutting-edge all-electric buses and introduced its comprehensive Digital & Intelligent Low-Carbon Urban Transportation System Solution, highlighting its drive toward greener and smarter mobility.

At the exhibition, CRRC EV presented a wide range of clean-energy vehicles from micro-circulation minibuses and mobile vending vehicles to premium coaches and double-decker buses demonstrating its ability to meet diverse global market needs. The spotlight was on the global debut of the EU12C and ED12 all-electric buses, both setting new benchmarks in performance, efficiency, and passenger experience.

The EU12C premium all-electric coach, designed for high-end travel, features an 800V high-voltage architecture that delivers 480 kW of peak power and 5,100 N·m of torque, capable of conquering grades over 30%. With its sleek aerodynamic body and advanced powertrain, the EU12C achieves a range of up to 550 km per charge and supports ultra-fast charging to reduce downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

The ED12 all-electric double-decker bus is purpose-built for urban operations. It accommodates up to 126 passengers and delivers up to 560 km of range per charge under ESORT conditions. The model features a lightweight 6000-series aluminum-alloy body, adapted from high-speed rail technology, ensuring a 20-year lifespan. Its 10-layer battery safety architecture enhances durability and provides multiple layers of protection for safer, more reliable operation.

In addition to its new vehicles, CRRC EV introduced the Digital & Intelligent Low-Carbon Urban Transportation System Solution, a four-tier smart mobility framework that integrates vehicles, infrastructure, and digital management. The system includes a Smart Cloud Brain (TOCC) a centralized AI- and IoT-based platform for real-time sensing, data analysis, and precision management of public transit. The Urban MaaS (Mobility as a Service) platform employs AI-driven scheduling, on-demand ride-hailing, and smart maintenance to improve service efficiency; notably, Zhuzhou’s “Yunshang Bus” pilot using CRRC H05 vehicles has achieved over 10 times higher monthly revenue than traditional fixed-route services.

The Smart Logistics tier integrates public transport and freight to cut last-mile delivery costs by 50% and increase efficiency by 40%, while the Green Infrastructure component supports vehicle-road-cloud integration with SL3-level perception, enabling autonomous driving, intelligent traffic control, and connected transport services.

Leveraging its full-industry-chain expertise in new energy and clean power solutions, CRRC EV continues to advance its “wind-solar-hydrogen-vehicle” ecosystem, which generates 32.5 billion kWh of renewable electricity annually and reduces 40 million tons of CO₂ emissions each year.

With these innovations, CRRC EV is driving the global transition toward cleaner, smarter, and more connected urban transportation setting a new standard for the future of sustainable mobility.
