Cummins unveils the 2025 6.7L Turbo Diesel engine for Ram Heavy Duty trucks, powering the 2500, 3500 Pickups, and 3500-5500 Chassis Cabs.

COLUMBUS, Indiana - Cummins Inc., a multinational engine manufacturer, has introduced the 2025 6.7-liter Turbo Diesel engine system for Ram Heavy Duty trucks, marking the most advanced diesel pickup engine to date. The advanced 6.7-liter Turbo Diesel engine and powertrain from Cummins will power the 2025 Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty Pickups, as well as the Ram 3500, 4500, and 5500 Chassis Cab trucks.

The next-generation Cummins 6.7L Turbo Diesel engine system reflects the brand's 106-year legacy of reliability and durability while setting new standards for performance and efficiency. This advanced engine delivers High-Output ratings of 430 horsepower and 1,075 lb.-ft. of torque for Pickups, and 360 horsepower and 800 lb.-ft. of torque for Chassis Cab models. Developed in collaboration with Ram and their powertrain providers, the 2025 Cummins 6.7L Turbo Diesel features a new 8-speed transmission, enhancing power, responsiveness, and drivability.

Maintenance is simplified with top-side serviceable filters and in-cabin software updates, while advanced glow plugs ensure reliable cold starts in extreme conditions.
